La Chronique Médicale, founded in 1894, was a fortnightly publication featuring unpublished articles on the health of literary and historical figures, and on the relationship between medicine and history, literature, art, sociology, political economy, etc. The first volume of the Chronique Médicale was published in 1894. For example, the 1902 volume includes an article on Toulouse-Lautrec's relationship with the medical world, with some of the painter's sketches reproduced as illustrations.
