Published in Trevoux, without publisher's name, in 1720. 2 volumes in 1 volume, format In douze / In-12. Brown basane, spine ribbed and decorated with gilt fleurons. (12)+300+117+90 pages, + 3 plates h. -t. Interior somewhat faded, period inscriptions on endpapers.
Extensive study by Jean-Adrien Helvétius (1661-1727) on how to treat pox, followed by a treatise by Dominique Anel (1679-1730) in which he explains the way he invented to treat wounds, enriched by plates outside the text presenting instructions and instruments. Good condition overall.
