Aubergine half-chagrin, spine ribbed with gilt fillets, speckled edges. IV+748 pages, 3 plates and numerous black figures in the text. Light, scattered brown spots. Binding somewhat rubbed, trace of restoration to spine. Treatise on tuberculosis illustrated with three color plates showing sections and microscopic views. Handwritten bookplate of the physician Saint-Ange Barrier, for whom studies on the same subject are known. A good copy.
