FIZES, Antoine. Tractatus de Febribus. Published in Hagae-comitum by Petri de Hondt in 1744. In-12, full tan basane, spine ribbed and decorated with gilt irons, red edges. 328 pp. pages. Splintering on first cover, corners bumped. Light staining in upper margin. Fourth edition of this treatise on fevers. Antoine Fizes was physician to the Duc d'Orléans and Rousseau. He is also known for another treatise on cataracts. Handwritten bookplate on title page. A good copy in fine condition.
