Sheets in red half cloth slipcase, smooth spine with long title, decorations and cold roulette on covers, first illustrated folder, mute folders. 12 folders each containing 1 page of text, 1 color plate and the same in black, 2 plates bearing the year 1893 (one color and one black). The color plates for March, April and November are missing, with some foxing. Series of twelve short poems, for each month of the year, each accompanied by illustrations by Henri Patrice Dillon, on the theme of Polichinelle and the circus. Authors: Ernest d'Herville, Jules Lévy, Léonce Bénédicte, Émile Goudeau, Henri Degron, André Lemoyne, Henri Second, Hugues Le Roux, Clovis Hugues, Léon Deschamps, Théodore Maurer and Charles Frémine.
