Brown calf, ruled spine with double gilt fillets and horizontal scrolls, two black morocco title-pieces, small gilt-lettered boxes, gilt fillet at the edges, guilloché headpieces, blue pebbled edges. 4 ff.n.ch., 2 pages, 8 ff.n.ch., 314 pages, 1 frontispiece engraved by CN Cochin after CS Gaucher, endpapers. Binding rubbed, corners dulled, tears not missing on pp. 241, 267 and 273. Edition for the year 1787 of the Étrennes lyriques, in which poems by Fanny de Beauharnais, Chevalier de Boufflers, Regnault du Beaucaron and Rousseau, among others, were published. A pleasant copy in a good binding.
