Red half-chagrin. Smooth spines decorated with false nerves released by a double stamped fillet and underlined by a gilded cartouche, boxes framed with a triple gilded fillet and gilded floral lace. Approx. 400-1000 pages per volume. Trace to fourth box of vol. 10, some upper headbands worn, rubbing to some edges, lower corner of vol. 28 damaged, pages faded, foxing unevenly distributed. Fully revised and enlarged second edition, complete with all 30 volumes. This impressive series defines the body of medical knowledge under the July Monarchy. Handwritten ex-dono in the first volume.
