Beautiful edition of this famous 15th-century poetic work. Richly illustrated in color by André Hubert, a master glassmaker and artist known for his illumination work. There is a large double-page composition and 6 out-of-text compositions. Framed decoration in red on each page. Limited edition of 1,293 copies, ours one of 1,000 on vellum (n°549). Autograph letter from the illustrator, without addressee, on the flyleaf. A pleasant copy in excellent condition, in a fanfare-style publisher's binding.
