Collection of issues of Le monde illustré from the first semester (January to June) 1876. This magazine is adorned with numerous woodcuts: political events, mining disasters, salon scenes, reproductions of works of art, caricatures, comic and picturesque scenes, military news... An interesting historical account of the mid-1870s.
