Anonymous, France, Empire period, circa 1805/1810. Silver pocket watch, the bezel chased with a laurel frieze, the white enameled dial (pet acc) painted with lobes surrounding Arabic numerals, punctuated with fleurs-de-lis, the whole in the style of a daisy centered on a gilded Mediterranean port motif. Tilting mechanical movement, circular screw-lug cockerel pierced with rosette scrolls. Escapement with verge, chain and fusée. Case diameter: 5.25 cm. As is.
