Rare Renaissance-style watch case in brass and silver, in the form of a Nüremberg basin or egg, consisting of an oval case with two domed hinged lids closing on sockets, a chased decoration in a belt with botanical motifs, applied and screwed to the body, two holes for the tulip hoop (supplied) and the insertion of the winding key (not supplied). The frame with baluster pillars is not drilled, pending movement. Size: 6.3 x 4.9 cm. Gross weight: 122.9 g. (Condition of use)
