Dust jacket very slightly worn, with a tiny tear at foot.
Superb book featuring 258 photographs taken by Austrian ethnographer and photographer Hugo A. Bernatzik during his travels in Africa in the 1920s. Includes texts by Kevin Conru, Klaus-Jochen Krüger, Margarett Loke and Christina Angela Thomas.
