Gold-lined metal wristwatch, turtle-shaped, silvered dial with patina and age-wear, Arabic numerals except for the six replaced by the small seconds dial, chemin de fer hour markers, stained glass hands (missing), hinged case with frieze on belt (star watch case company stellar), Zenith mechanical movement for Ellis Bros, Swiss lever escapement. Folding clasp. 3 glasse corners broken. Back engraved with "from HGM to WLM Xmas 1930".
