Numerous color photographs out of text, two black photographs out of text. Cover of first volume very slightly dog-eared. Catalogs of the sales of Daniel and Marian Malcolm's collection of African art by Sotheby's. The first volume is devoted to the sale held in New York on May 7, 2016 (12 lots), the second to that held in Paris on June 22, 2016 (12 lots). The Malcolms fell in love with African art during a visit to the Grand Palais in Paris in 1966. The flagship lot in their collection is a Yombe maternity from the Democratic Republic of Congo. In very good condition.
