Scepter featuring a female figure with bent legs. Hands on t - Lot 56
Scepter featuring a female figure with bent legs. Hands on thighs. Heart-shaped face with a collected expression. Hardwood with deep lacquered patina, crusty in places. Sénoufo, Ivory Coast. H. 52 cm. A hole through the sculpture's forehead indicates that this prestigious object certainly carried a wrought-iron blade.
