Female sculpture standing on a pedestal or fragment of a post. The arms are detached from the body. Heart-shaped face with eyes inlaid with earthenware chips. The headdress is made of plaits. Wood with old patina and traces of white staining on the face. Tsogho, Gabon. H. 165 cm. (Missing right eye). This type of representation was part of the Ebandza House of Worship, where the Bwiti cult, which governed the lives of the Tsogho and Vuvi populations, was practiced.
