Hourglass-shaped drum adorned with a large, openwork handle featuring a geometric design of bird beaks. It has retained its original reptile skin as well as its braided fiber decorations. Wood with an antique brown patina. Asmat, Irian Jaya. Length: 63 cm. Provenance: former collection of the painter François Bouillon.
