[LAW] JAY, Joseph-Laurent. Dictionnaire général et raisonné - Lot 91
[LAW] JAY, Joseph-Laurent. Approx. 450 pages per volume. Spines faded and rubbed, rare foxing. Third edition, enlarged by jurist and librettist Louis Alexandre Beaume, known as Beaumont, and by Charles Million, lawyer at the Imperial Court of Lyon and Paris. This dictionary, intended for use by justices of the peace, was supposed to contain all the articles of law and case law needed to settle everyday disputes brought before these courts. Good, fairly fresh copies of this imposing legal work.
