Red half-basane, false ribbed spine and gilt titles.

36 and 39 plates (75 in all) on steel, enhanced in color (36.5 x 26 cm).
Bindings rubbed, occasional foxing or small tear to side of plates, some issues formerly folded in half, one quire containing a plate unhooked in volume 2.
"La Mode Illustrée" was a weekly family newspaper dedicated to the latest trends and couture, among other more ancillary subjects. Each issue came with a color plate, 75 in all, including two family scenes or children's games.
