Paris, Lebigre-Duquesne, 1859. 10 vol. in-8, bottle-green percaline, smooth spine, stamped filleted boxes, same decoration on covers. Approx. 500 pp. per volume and 340 steel engravings in all (unpaginated), a portrait-frontispiece of the author in the first volume (Terre Sainte). Used rubbing, foxing, plates often browned. Incredible world tour in 10 volumes, including two devoted to France. The others cover the main countries of Europe and Asia (Turkey, Persia, China...), and the last volume covers America and Oceania. A fine travel series.
