* Edmond LACHENAL (1855-1930). - Lot 155
* Edmond LACHENAL (1855-1930). An almost square decorative dish on a heel in enameled ceramic with an original aquatic decoration of frogs in relief. Handwritten signature painted in enamel and dated 1892 on reverse. D. 22.5 × 23 cm. This work is completely in keeping with the artist's pre-Art Nouveau naturalist and Japanese repertoire, with its original, plunging view into the water, the treatment of the reeds and the undulating border like a water frieze.
