Full black morocco, triple fillet framing the boards, coat of arms of the Etats du Languedoc stamped in gold in the center of the boards, 6-rib spine decorated with friezes on the headpieces, roulettes on the nerves and flowered boxes with gilt irons, double fillet on the edges, all edges gilt. Contemporary binding. 583 pp, 1 pp.b/w, 31 pp, 1 p.b/w, 34 pp, 6 pp.b/w,,xxxi pp. 5 pp.b/w. Minor defects to binding. A few passages underlined in pencil. First edition of the minutes of the Estates-General of Languedoc held from January 12, 1786 to February 18, 1786. The edition is followed by two appendices devoted to the sénéchaussées of Carcassonne and Toulouse, and a table of contents. Coat of arms inspired by the medieval arms of the Sovereign Counts of Toulouse: Gules, a cross clechée, voided and crested of twelve Or. A very fine copy in excellent condition, with no restorations.
