In-4 (230x290 mm), red grosgrain morocco, spine with 4 nerves decorated with a stylized ribbon drawn in cold and mosaicked in black morocco, boards decorated with the same, cold filets on the edges, wide inner border in the same morocco set with a cold fillet and a black morocco listel surrounded by two gilded fillets with gilded and mosaic green morocco fleurons in the spandrels, burgundy silk lining and endpapers, double endpapers, gilded edges on witnesses, covers and spines preserved, edged slipcase (Marius Michel). 213 pages and 4 ff.n.ch. (prospectus), 32 color compositions by Georges Rochegrosse, etched by Eugène Decisy, including a frontispiece and 5 hors-texte, attractive gray historiated decoration framing the text. Luxurious edition with 32 color compositions by painter Georges Rochegrosse (1859-1938), etched by Eugène Decisy. Limited edition of 350 copies, this one of 60 copies on large Japon impérial or large Vélin d'Arches, this one N°96 on large Japon impérial, initialed by the publisher, containing two states in color of all the illustrations, one with remarks before the letter. A precious copy with an original signed watercolor by George Rochegrosse (variant of the illustration on page 102) and the publisher's illustrated prospectus. Pleasant mosaic binding by Marius Michel, in perfect condition.
