DRIEU LA ROCHELLE, Pierre. Plainte contre inconnu. - Lot 174
DRIEU LA ROCHELLE, Pierre. Plainte contre inconnu. Paris, Gallimard-NRF, 1924. In-4 format, paperback, two-tone printed cover, uncut 202 pp. Margins slightly frayed, as is often the case. First edition of this introspective and disillusioned novel by Pierre Drieu la Rochelle, in which the author explores the existential malaise and loneliness of modern man. One of the 108 copies reprinted in the in-4 tellière format and numbered on Lafuma-Navarre laid paper; among these, one of the eight uncommercial copies numbered from A to H (No. E). A very fine copy.
