DUBECH, Lucien. Poems for Aricie. Paris, Société littéraire de France, 1920. In-8, cherry-colored half-calf, spine with faux raised bands decorated with gilt fillets and embossing, covers intact. Binding signed "F. Randeynes." 60 pp. First edition of this collection of poems by Lucien Dubech (1881–1940), a literary critic associated with Action Française. One of 230 copies numbered on Rives vellum (no. 30), the only edition printed on large-format paper. The binding is signed “F. Randeynes,” most likely for Félix Randeynes, a Parisian bookbinder who was based on Rue d’Assas (Paris) from 1903 to 1935. Includes an engraved and three-color printed bookplate by Auguste-Pierre Garnier (1885–1966), a publisher and poet from Normandy. The copy is in excellent condition, in its signed binding.
