First edition of this tribute to Oscar Wilde, published 10 years after his death and illustrated with a touching frontispiece portrait. Copy on common paper, with a wet-stamped four-leaf clover—Gide’s personal mark at Mercure. The collection brings together two articles that appeared in *L'Ermitage* in June 1902 and August 1905, respectively: “In Memoriam (Memories)” and the review of *De Profundis*. [Naville 60].
