An ode to Paris in thirteen amusing descriptions by Valéry Larbaud, labeled from A to M, enhanced by Chas Laborde’s vivid illustrations depicting scenes from various Parisian neighborhoods—from Ménilmontant to the Champs-Élysées, from a metro platform to a boxing ring. This is the first volume of the famous “Rues et visages” series, fully illustrated by Chas Laborde, which continued with London (1928), Berlin (1930), Moscow (1935), and New York (1950, posthumous).
In good condition, clean interior.
