A revised edition of the “Systema Linnaeum” by Andreas Murray (1740–1791), another Swedish botanist, who edited, corrected, and published the section of the *Systema Naturae* devoted to the plant kingdom. It was thanks to Murray’s edition of this *“Systema Vegetabilium”* that Linnaeus gained widespread renown in Europe. Handwritten bookplate on the title page and a J & A. Raynal bookplate label on the back of the title page. A fine copy in a sturdy 19th-century binding.
