One of 67 copies numbered on *Vélin du Marais*, the only large-format paper used. *Le Mirage* (*Die Betrogene*) is a short novel about the passionate love affair, set in Düsseldorf in the 1920s, between a fifty-year-old widow and a young American man who teaches English to her son. It can be compared, from a female perspective, to the famous *Death in Venice*. In fine condition.
