Spine sun-faded, as is often the case. A richly illustrated study by art historian Jean-Louis Vaudoyer (1883–1963). As a preface, a letter in verse by Henri de Régnier reproduced in facsimile, a touching tribute to Georges Barbier (1882–1932). Limited edition of 700 copies; this one is numbered on white Johannot vellum (No. 189).
