In-8, midnight blue half-maroquin with corner caps, spine with four raised bands, triple gilt fillet framing the panels, gilt head, untrimmed, covers and spine preserved. XX and 423 pp., 4 color plates. Centennial edition preceded by an essay by Louis Bertrand and illustrated with 4 stencil prints based on the original watercolors by Pierre Brissaud. Limited edition of 1,020 copies; this is one of the 900 numbered copies printed on pure Voiron rag vellum (no. 405). A fine copy.
