XI and 142 pp. A delightful miniature edition in a full binding that is perfectly executed and well preserved. In this short treatise, translated by F.L.J. Labis, Giovanni Battista Roberti (1719–1786), an Italian Jesuit scholar and man of letters, extols the ordinary virtues, which are the cornerstones of Christian morality. It is followed by “Saint Louis’s Advice to the Duchess of Burgundy.” In fine condition.
