[PARIS] FOURNEL, Victor. The Streets of Old Paris: A Popular and Picturesque Gallery. A fine copy in its very well-preserved publisher’s cardboard binding. Paris, Firmin-Didot et Cie, 1879. In-8, red percaline in the publisher’s binding, front cover adorned with a large gilt plate, plain spine and back cover adorned with the coat of arms of the city of Paris, gilt edges. Vi and 663 pp., frontispiece and 164 black-and-white illustrations. An illustrated edition devoted to the history and character of the streets of old Paris by the writer and historian Victor Fournel (1829–1894). A copy in excellent condition.
