Paris and Geneva, Librairie des Bibliophiles and Librairie Desrogis, n.d. [circa 1885]. Large 8vo, full varnished sheepskin binding stamped with Japanese-style motifs (flowers, foliage, butterflies), plain spine with a honey-colored leather title label, original covers preserved. 331 pp. Scuffing on the clasps, caps, and corners; spine and part of the upper cover sun-faded; linings and endpapers replaced with later brown paper. Indicated as the 3rd edition of this collection of philosophical and melancholic reflections, a romantic meditation by Octave Pirmez (1832–1883), a French-speaking Belgian writer. In good condition.
