Limited edition of 150 copies on Arches paper, in a full Jansenist binding signed by Blanchetière. Paris, Société du Livre d’Art, 1923. In-4, full brown Jansenist morocco with a coarse grain, ribbed spine, wide interior border adorned with a set of gilt fillets enhanced by a mosaic leaf motif at the two outer corners, double gilt fillet at the cuts, guilloché caps, covers and spine preserved. Binding signed by Blanchetière. 170 pp., frontispiece and 15 woodcut plates, with ornamentation on every page. Spine slightly faded. Illustrated edition featuring 16 woodcut plates in monochrome by Robert Bonfils (1886–1971). Limited edition of 150 copies on Arches paper; this is one of 100 personalized copies reserved for members of the Society, dedicated to the painter and draftsman Paul Goute (1860–1943) and bearing his bookplate. In very fine condition.
