ROUGEMONT, Guy de, and DUNANT, Ghislaine. *Découper pour voir*. Paris, Galerie du 7 rue Princesse, n.d. [1983]. In-12, paperback, gray cover with geometric cutouts. 16 pages, 10 full- or double-page color lithographs. Cover slightly creased, very slight marks on the front cover. Catalog published on the occasion of the Rougemont exhibition at the Galerie du 7 rue Princesse, illustrated with 10 full-page or double-page color compositions. Introduced by a text by Ghislaine Dunant titled “Découper pour voir” (“Cut Out to See”), it lists and describes the 20 lithographs produced at the Bordas studio. Limited edition of 500 numbered copies; this is no. 74. French painter, sculptor, and member of the Académie des Beaux-Arts Guy de Rougemont (1935–2021) is renowned for his colorful compositions, geometric cutouts, polychrome cylinders, and “forms-volumes” that blur the line between painting and sculpture. A fine example.
